In 2010, Trianon expanded into Spain, opening its first office in Madrid. Operating within a framework similar to its French counterpart's, combining a rich "field" experience of mergers and acquisitions with strong sector expertise (IT, Banking and Finance), this new branch confirms the European dimension of Trianon's consulting services and knowledge platform.
Behind this project - and a key-factor to its success - is Marc Cébrian, who took the lead of the new entity, as a Partner and Director.
After having started his career in the financial department of construction engineering group Heurtey, Marc quickly turned to the management of IT services companies, from working for XRT-Cerge Finance, where he served as sales manager, to taking the lead management of its subsidiary XRT Spain for eight years, before starting his own IT Services Company, Optima Finance, specializing in financial solutions integration. After 5 years, Marc sold Optima to the SAGE group, and took on the management of the newly created subsidiary Sage Finance.
In 2006, he joined Investment and M&A firm ONEtoONE Capital Partners, where he successfully closed several more deals in the IT sector and carried out consulting assignments for companies in a broad range of sectors.
Marc is seconded by Juan Antonio Granado Gil, who joined Trianon Madrid as a Senior Advisor, after a career spent primarily primarily in the private banking departments of prominent financial institutions for over 17 years.
Juan Antonio started his career in corporate banking services before moving to leading asset management teams for institutions such as Crédit Suisse and UBS. During his career, Juan Antonio has taken part in several M&A operations involving a diverse range of private banking clients.
Relying - just as much as Trianon Paris does - on Trianon's international network and on the combined expertise of a talented and multicultural team, Trianon Madrid was founded by Marc with the purpose of conducting cross border transactions for all European, Spanish companies seeking external growth.
