Through its solution, Kolabee enables companies to connect their employees with non-profit projects, monitor employee productivity on their assignments, and automate the reporting of completed activities as well as the issuance of tax receipts. Kolabee’s management team chose to focus on skills-based volunteering during inter-contract periods, targeting consultant-employees between client assignments. This specialization has enabled the company to build a strong reputation among IT services firms and within the non-profit ecosystem.
The shareholders appointed Trianon CF to advise on the sale process, with a mandate to identify a strategic partner capable of supporting the company’s next phase of development and accelerating its growth. Day One subsequently acquired Kolabee, convinced by the company’s differentiated positioning, the robustness of its SaaS platform, and the growth opportunities offered by a rapidly expanding market.
Trianon CF’s support notably included the preparation of the information memorandum, the identification, introduction and conduct of discussions with potential buyers, the management of discussions with interested parties, the negotiation of the sellers’ interests, the management of the data room and Q&A sessions, as well as the coordination of all stakeholders involved in the transaction.
