SMS Incendie carries out the installation, periodic checks, maintenance and troubleshooting of fire safety systems. The company has recognized expertise in sprinklers and is one of the few players capable of working on all fire safety systems. The company based in Saint-Quentin has around 50 employees and generated sales revenue of €8 million in 2021.
Pierre Dumas, manager of SMS Incendie for 25 years, wanted to be backed by a strategic player capable of continuing the development of the company. He gave a sell-side mandate to Trianon Corporate Finance in order to find strategic buyers. Convinced of the synergies provided by the company, VINCI ENERGIES acquired SMS Incendie, thus enabling it to increase its presence in Hauts de France.
The intervention of Trianon CF focused on drafting the information memorandum, identifying and contacting potential buyers, negotiating the interests of the sellers, managing the dataroom and Q&A sessions, as well as coordinating all the parties involved in the transaction.
